I have wanted to write all my life.  I was hooked on writing from my first illustrated picture book, which featured a damsel in distress named ‘Suzy.’ I scribbled in it with my pencil at the age of 4 and would read it to my mother. I was always encouraged at home to write while growing up, and it was never a chore to be assigned any creative writing task in school or to read stories to students once I became a teacher. Now retired, I spend my time travelling, swimming, golfing, walking and enjoying my pets.  I don’t think a walk or bike ride goes by that I don’t look for some inspiration for my next story, be it for children or adults.
